The Citizenship and Immigration work group is the forum where strategies developed by the Government of Catalonia are debated and actions carried out on the topic of immigration and repatriation are evaluated.

Created by the National Immigration Pact, the Citizenship and Immigration work group is where institutions, social agents, neighbourhood and parent’s associations collectively debate. The goal of the work group is to provide the cross-cutting issue of immigration with the necessary viewpoints to adapt it to the needs of society.

Some of the goals of the Citizenship and Immigration work group include contributing to the incorporation of the immigrant and repatriated population to the associative network of Catalan society and sensitise Catalan society on migration issues and non-discrimination.
