Les comissions de desembassament de l’Agència Catalana de l’Aigua (ACA) assumeixen les funcions de participació en la gestió dels recursos hídrics de les conques internes catalanes.
En concret hi ha establertes 4 comissions de desembassament (Ter-Llobregat, Muga, Foix i Riudecanyes), corresponents als diferents trams regulats de les principals conques i sistemes del districte de conca fluvial de Catalunya.
En aquestes comissions es determinen les dotacions d'aigua per a satisfer les diverses necessitats d'abastament, reg i usos ambientals, i també s'aborden els temes d'interès de cada àmbit.
