És imprescindible incorporar la tecnologia en l'atenció, però no únicament els sistemes d'informació han d'estar lligats a la tecnologia. Perquè la integració funcioni ha d'estar la tecnologia incorporada en tota l'atenció. La tecnologia és imprescindible, des del seguiment, prestació del servei... Aquesta integració tecnològica ha de ser escalable, pràctica i útil. Cal parlar de interoperabilitat.
