Catalunya i Espanya són grans productors de producte ecològic que s’exporta i es consumeix a fora. La situació del sector primari fa que sigui molt poc atractiva actualment per la societat. Posar en valor aquest tipus de productes permetria donar més pes al sector primari i millorar el seu atractiu laboral.
