Existeix un gran dèficit d’informació i coneixement sobre el patrimoni català. En particular, en relació al patrimoni immoble, avui no es coneix amb precisió l’inventari patrimonial. Actualment, l’accés a la informació sobre el patrimoni immobiliari amb valors culturals és molt deficitari, fragmentat i heterogeni.
