El Decret 75/2020, de 4 d'agost, de turisme de Catalunya contempla la legislació d'una nova modalitat d'allotjament: les llars compartides. Segons s'indica a la llei, aquest tipus d'allotjament es començava a regular a l'agost del 2021, però a la pràctica encara no s'ha fet. Cal desenvolupar aquest apartat del decret per tal de legalitzar la situació l'abans possible. La tramitació del NIRTC hauria de ser simple i la regulació ha de resoldre temes com el pagament de taxes.
